Has someone invited you to join SFI?
If you’re using advertising sites like traffic exchange or Facebook groups, chances are you have encountered ads promoting SFI.
This company has been around for 2 decades now, and it looks like they have survived the test of time. And a lot of people from low income countries are getting attracted to this.
Now, let’s make it clear that I am not promoting this company as an affiliate or distributor. I used to be with them, but no longer now. But I have a high respect for this company.
You will learn more about why, as you read.
What is SFI?
SFI or Strong Future International was founded by Gery Carson in 1998.
Looking closely, you will notice that this company is an affiliate program but with the element of a multi-level marketing program or MLM.
The reason I say this is, it pays several deep in the affiliate genealogy, down to the 8th level, a characteristic of MLM plans.
But according to its affiliates, it is not an MLM program, but rather just an affiliate program.
When I was an active member of them way back 2007, the compensation plan was more of a MLM plan. There was a global powerline, emphasizing on recruiting affiliates.
They have revamped their system, including the pay plan. Although the earnings still come from the sales generated by affiliates via their online store TripleClicks.com, with the new comp plan, one can now attain ranking by just being active in the site doing tasks.
Can You Make Money With SFI?
I remember when I was just new in SFI, things were just simple.
Today, I find the system at SFI a bit complicated. Also, finishing recommended tasks can sometimes be time-consuming… time that’s better off spent on marketing products for commissions.
As affiliates, you are given a chance to refer affiliates, and based on your performance i.e. tasks finished, you can benefit from the performance of your referred affiliates.
Then, there’s an online store called TripleClicks.
As an affiliate, you are also eligible to sell products in TripleClicks. For every product that you want to sell, you are provided with affiliate link so you can earn commission for every sale.
You can also sell your own products, brand new and used items.
In my opinion, there are two realistic ways to make money:
- Your referred affiliate decided to purchase products in the online store (TripleClicks), and as the one who referred that person, you can get benefited from the purchase.
- You own a website or blog, you pick a product you wanna promote, blog about that product and use the provided affiliate link in referring people to the online store.
As you can see, it is possible to make money with SFI… but it’s not that easy.
The first possibility that I’ve mentioned depends on how good you are at referring people to SFI. And not just refer people, but refer highly qualified people.
I’ve seen so many broke people joining SFI, and if you are the referring person, how will you make money off referrals not purchasing any?
The second possibility depends on how good you are at blogging and generating traffic to your blog.
When I was just new in both SFI and blogging, I tried promoting some TripleClicks products in my blog. Since my blog was just new then, and the traffic is low to zero, I got no sales.
So, the amount of money you can make with your SFI home business depends on marketing skills. People who are joining SFI thinking it’s an easy to make quick money will be disappointed.
They also revamped the store, resulting to creation of another website hosting the store. The new store is now called TripleClicks.com.
What It Takes To Work With Legit Companies
Based on my knowledge about what is legit and what’s not, I can say SFI is legit. It is not a scam.
The problem is, it is usually hard to make money with legit companies, unless you got the skills in marketing the products.
In questionable opportunities, if you are clever enough to join early and got the skills of convincing others to join with you, you can get-rich-quick.
It’s true, I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
You join a network marketing company with a binary compensation plan, you recruit two leaders who are self-motivated and can work on their own, and BOOM! Big money coming in week by week.
But then, you will notice that most of these programs, they don’t last long. They are either questioned by authorities, or get eaten alive by similar but newer companies.
With legit companies like SFI, it’s not pure luck that’s at play.
In order for you to make money, you need marketing skills and hard work.
Just like a lot of people trying to make money with Amazon with no luck, it’s the same with SFI. People with no sales background, and are looking for “easy money”, are joining SFI in droves.
They’re joining in droves, and also leaving in droves!
An Interview With Active Marketers
Examining the new affiliate compensation plan, I have this impression that it is really possible to make money with SFI. You just have to have the sales skills and work hard promoting both the program and the products.
It’s not easy though, in contrast to the message they’re using in their recruiting pages.
No easy money, boy.
And to support this impression, I tried contacting every high ranking affiliate in the program and asked.
I asked them how much they’re making, and if people are really making money with SFI. Unfortunately, nobody ever bothered to show me proof they’re making money….
…they said it’s against SFI’s policy to show proof of income.
This is making an impression of the company that it is really hard to make money with them. Or, if you can make money, a lot of time and efforts are required just to show up a penny.
Ironically, I see big leaders in online marketing like Stone Evans still promote SFI.
It seems SFI is one good company, but like any other legit company who follow the law by the book, it’s hard to make money with this program.
For people who like to be compensated not only from own sales but also from the sales of referrals, this can be a good company to join. Their compensation plan for affiliates is quite generous.
Unlike Amazon and other favorites of affiliates, this one seems to have an element of multi-level marketing. And in companies like this, recruiting or sponsoring people can have a significant help for you if you want bigger income.
With that said, learning how to recruit opportunity seekers online, is a must. If you wanna learn how I recruit with ease for my primary business (WA), what specific tools I use, click below.
